Lipless, Catching Fire (Little Foot Extended Remix)

Lipless - Catching Fire (Little Foot Extended Remix)

Little Foot’s extended mix is the one on Lipless’ new single. Track three. There’s this extra two minutes of breakdown and it just sits there, letting the low end do something.

It’s got space. The vocal gets to stretch. The percussion breathes. And then when that kick comes back it means something again.

The Little Foot Remix as track one is fine, does the usual thing you expect.

The original on track two counts, I won’t move the goalposts on that, it’s the real song.

But the extended one? That’s the keeper. That’s the one I’m coming back to.

Lane 8, Stay Still, A Little While

Lane 8 - Stay Still, A Little While

There are moments when a track doesn’t just fill the room, it holds the room. This is one of those. Lane 8’s latest single, 'Stay Still, A Little While,' released on Anjunadeep on October 28, 2025, doesn’t scream for attention. It asks for your stillness. And in that stillness, it gives you something back.

The track unfolds like a slow breath. Warm pads, a patient pulse, and a melody that feels less written and more remembered. It’s a rare kind of electronic music that feels alive in the silence between notes. This isn’t a peak-time banger, it’s a late-night closer, the kind of track that plays when the lights are just beginning to come up and the few people left aren’t dancing anymore, they’re just existing in the sound.

I’m not going to gesture at the fan count or the streaming numbers. This is a good song, and I want to talk about why. It sits beautifully in the Lane 8 catalogue, a piece of quiet confidence. There’s a placement for this one, not in the middle of the set, but at the very end of the night. Three or four people left. The floor is sticky. The air is warm. And this is what plays. It isn’t the usual placement for this kind of release, but it’s the right one.

Goes atStay Still, A Little While is for the last three or four people who haven't left yet, whether or not anyone's still officially dancing.

CircoLoco Records

Prospa, 'Love Songs' (feat. Kosmo Kint)

Prospa - Love Songs (feat. Kosmo Kint)

On their latest for CircoLoco Records, UK duo Prospa team up with vocalist Kosmo Kint for ‘Love Songs’, a warm, vocal-led breaks track that still manages to keep the dancefloor in mind. With a delicate balance of live-sounding percussion and a rubbery, club-primed low end, it sits nicely in that sweet spot between the after-hours and the main room.

The vocal chop in the hook gets reused across the drops like a little signature, it’s the kind of production detail that rewards repeat listens. Kosmo Kint’s vocal sits right at the front, but there’s plenty of texture underneath: soft stabs, dusty hats, and a breakdown that breathes before the beat kicks back in with extra swing. Prospa have always had a knack for making records that feel both nostalgic and current, and this one’s no exception. It’s a track that could work just as well in a warehouse at 4am as it does on a sunny terrace, and that’s a rare thing.

Rafael Cerato returns to Diynamic with 'Agapo EP'

Rafael Cerato - Agapo EP

Rafael Cerato returns to Solomun’s Diynamic for a new three-tracker, the ‘Agapo EP’, a warm, heady, and deeply atmospheric collection that fits right into the label’s long-standing identity.

Since its earliest days, Diynamic’s had this whole warm, slightly emotional deep house identity, from Solomun’s own early output to the label’s most defining releases, and this EP sits comfortably inside that lineage. Cerato understands the assignment, delivering music that’s full of texture and feeling without losing sight of the dancefloor.

Title track ‘Agapo’ is the obvious highlight here, a slowly unfolding piece of melodic house that carries a genuine sense of longing, its main motif floating above a rolling, hypnotic groove. ‘Blush’ keeps the mood sultry and intimate, with delicate synth work and a deep, seductive bassline that feels made for dimly lit rooms. ‘That Hits’ is the flattest thing on the EP by a wide margin, leaning on a more straightforward rhythmic approach that, while functional, lacks the emotional pull of its companions.

Still, the EP as a whole’s a very strong addition to Diynamic’s catalog, and ‘Agapo’ alone is worth the price of admission. Cerato continues to prove why he’s one of the most reliable names in this corner of the scene.

Jerro unveils 'Rush' on Thrive Music

Jerro - Rush

Every so often a track comes along that feels like a masterclass in restraint and melody. Jerro’s new single 'Rush', out now on Thrive Music, is exactly that, a track that reveals its genius in the details, particularly in how its bassline is written.

What stands out immediately is the bassline’s movement. Rather than sitting on a single root note under the chords, the bassline here actually moves with the chord progression, shifting its pitch to follow the harmonic changes. I think. I've been wrong about this read before, twice that I can actually name, so, I think. This isn't just a rumble for the subwoofer; it's a melodic voice in its own right, dancing in the key the whole way through. The result is a track that feels both grounded and fluid, with a low-end that tells a story rather than just providing a foundation.

It's a technique that, when executed well, can elevate a house track from functional to transcendent. And Jerro executes it flawlessly. The bassline isn't just supporting the melody; it's an integral part of it, creating a harmonic richness that rewards both the dancefloor and the headphones. It's a subtle but profound choice, and one that many producers could learn from.

As Thrive Music continues to solidify its identity as a home for forward-thinking melodic house and techno, releases like this reinforce why they're the label to watch. 'Rush' is a track that feels both immediate and timeless, a perfect example of how the right musical theory can translate into pure, unfiltered emotion. A must-listen for anyone who appreciates the craft behind the groove.

This Never Happened

Christian Löffler releases 'Beside You' on This Never Happened

Christian Löffler - Beside You

The title track from Christian Löffler's 'Beside You' single is a quiet marvel. It's the kind of track that just sits there being sad in a really specific way, like the very last hour of a long night when it's just the room breathing and no one has anything left to say. The piano is sparse. The pads are glacial. The beat, when it finally arrives, is less a pulse and more a distant heartbeat heard through a wall.

And then there's the flip. 'Free' is the kind of track that sneaks up on you. On first listen it might feel like the b-side, the afterthought, but a second spin reveals it as the stronger of the two in that quiet, unassuming way. It has this gentle gravity, pulling you into a comedown so complete you're suddenly alone in the room, staring at the speakers, wondering where the last six minutes went. One line's enough for it: it's the sound of everything fading out except the feeling.

Löffler's been doing this for a long time, and 'Beside You' feels like a statement of intent: no big drops, no emotional manipulation, just the patient, precise craft of letting a space be empty and filling it with exactly the right amount of nothing. It arrives on This Never Happened, a label that fits this aesthetic perfectly, and the pairing's seamless.

Released August 7, 2025, this is one for the early hours, for the walk home, for the moment when the night's ended but you're not quite ready to let it go.

Outer Space Oasis

Dema - Fever (From Cometa)

Dema - Cometa

Cometa, the second track, is the title track and is fine, classic, but Fever is the one. There's a vocal chop that comes back three separate times, and that's the hook that keeps you. It's more energetic, more frantic, more fun. The release dropped August 29, 2025 on Outer Space Oasis.

Attom

Attom, 'Pathways'

Attom - Pathways

It's the kind of track that makes you want to call someone at 4am and not say anything, just have them hear it too. Not because it's sad. Because it's true.

"Pathways" is a single track, self-released, just under five minutes long. There's no EP, no remix package, no label politics. Just a person who finished a thing and put it out into the world. On a Friday, no less. August 29th, 2025.

You can tell it's built from a specific kind of patience. The low end waits until about two minutes in to show up, and when it does, it doesn't announce itself, it just changes the whole shape of the room. Same tempo. Different gravity. That's the move.

This is a comedown record for me. The kind you put on after the night has already ended, when the streetlights are doing that thing where they feel like they're breathing. It's not asking for anything. It's just there.

This one feels like a private conversation. No audience. No agenda. Just a door left open.

Listen with good headphones. Let it do what it does.

Where The Shadow Ends

Bodai - Brave (pumbum Remix)

Bodai - Brave (pumbum Remix)

Bodai's 'Brave' gets the remix treatment and the new EP is out now on Where The Shadow Ends. I'm picking out pumbum's version, because that's the one where the drop actually goes somewhere different than where it started, with a whole breakdown in the back third that flips the track inside out and lands it in a more spacious, almost fractured place. That's the real piece.

The other three on the EP? The Intro Mix is fine, the JFR Remix is the flat one, it's the weakest on the record, track two strikes again. Edu Schwartz's version is okay but doesn't leave much of an impression. So the pumbum remix is the one.

Now, about the label name: Where The Shadow Ends. Is that a real bit or is it just a name? I keep going back and forth. It sounds like it could be a movie title or a line from a poem that never got finished, but the music they put out actually lives up to the name, it's stuff that sits right on that edge between light and dark, where the kick doesn't let you forget the floor but the melody lets you drift off somewhere else. This remix sits exactly there. That's why it works.

Stil Vor Talent Records

Oliver Koletzki's 'Bones', the original still hits the spot

Oliver Koletzki - Bones (original)

It's the original 'Bones' that's been on repeat here. The remix might be getting the anniversary shine, but the source track is where the magic lives.

There's something about how the bassline is actually in conversation with the chords, not just sitting underneath them. I think Koletzki wrote it in the key on purpose, and that harmonic motion is what gives the record its pull. The remix flattens that out a bit; the original still has the tension, the way the low end rises and falls against the pads.

'Bones' shows Koletzki still knows how to make a groove feel alive.

John Joseph

John Joseph - 'Arrive' (Single)

John Joseph - Arrive

John Joseph delivers a deeply personal and minimal offering with 'Arrive', a single that strips away the dancefloor in favor of something quieter and more reflective. Released on August 14, 2025, this isn't a track built for peak hours, but rather a late-night meditation that sits underneath a moment without demanding attention.

'Arrive' is sparse, patient, and deeply atmospheric. It unfolds slowly, with delicate textures and a sense of space that feels almost cinematic. There's no aggressive kick, no obvious hook, just a gentle pulse that guides the listener through a landscape of subtle harmonics and soft, evolving pads. It's the sound of arriving somewhere, perhaps at the end of a long night, perhaps at the beginning of something else.

The single is self-released on John Joseph's own label, a move that speaks to the artist's commitment to creative independence. In a world of constant sonic overload, 'Arrive' is a reminder that sometimes the most powerful music is the quietest. It's a track that rewards patience, offering a deeply personal listening experience that feels both intimate and universal.

Goes atFor those looking for music that exists beyond the club, 'Arrive' is a gentle, welcome arrival.

Antima Music

Dmpv serves up the smooth groover 'Mimosa' on Antima Music

Dmpv - Mimosa

Dmpv returns to Antima Music with the release of 'Mimosa', a two-track package that puts the spotlight on a smooth, hypnotic groove. Out now, the lead cut is available in both an extended mix and a shorter cut, catering to both the dancefloor and the casual listener.

The extended mix runs at a tasteful six minutes and change, letting the track breathe with a genuine sense of progression rather than a stretched-out idea. It's in key, I think, and 'Mimosa' moves with the chord rather than against it, though that's a read I've been wrong about before, so grain of salt.
