Twenty Three (SRB) releases 'Solstice' EP

Twenty Three (SRB) returns with his latest EP, 'Solstice', out now on Vision 3 Records. It's a three-track excursion that locks into a patient, hypnotic gear, built for the quiet hours after the club has thinned out.

Opener 'Can't Know' unfolds over almost seven minutes, letting a restrained groove settle before layers of texture gently stack. It's subtle and rewards close listening. 'Index', the centrepiece, is the one that grabs you. There's a break that lands exactly where you don't expect it, and when it hits, you feel it in your chest. The production is precise, the arrangement plays with your sense of time, and it's easily the highlight of the EP.

Closer 'Solstice' stretches to eight minutes and leans into a meditative, late-night atmosphere. It's less about peak-time energy and more about a different kind of momentum: patient, rolling, and deep enough to hold your attention without demanding it.

This is small-hours music. Not the moment when the lights come on, but that period just before, when the dancefloor thins out and the people still standing have started having real conversations. The record keeps moving underneath it all, holding the room together.
